In our inclusive environment, we offer both group and private lessons to meet diverse needs. Group lessons foster camaraderie and confidence in a dynamic setting led by experienced instructors. For a more individualized approach, our private lessons provide exclusive attention tailored to specific goals, from conquering fear to mastering advanced techniques.
We understand the challenges of busy schedules, which is why we're open 7 days a week. Our commitment to meeting family needs extends beyond our hours – it's at the core of our mission.
Overview
Our Founders’ Roots
Colorado Swim School (CSS) is more than a business for Brent and Stephanie Scarbrough — it's a labor of love inspired by their personal journey. Their quest began with a simple desire: to find a quality swim program for their children, especially their son on the Autism Spectrum. Frustrated by the limited options, they established CSS to meet the needs of all children.
Driven by their experiences and a commitment to inclusivity, Brent and Stephanie created a swim school where every swimmer can thrive. Their dedication sets Colorado Swim School apart as the premier swim school in the region.
At CSS, we pride ourselves on meeting the unique needs of every swimmer. Inspired by our founders, we strive to create a supportive environment where every child can succeed. Join us and experience the difference firsthand!
Our Mission
To provide a proven learning process where babies, toddlers, children, and adults can take steps toward mastering comfort in the water, learning to swim, enhancing and refining strokes, and more importantly, becoming safer and more aware in and around bodies of water.

Our
Instructors
Our instructors undergo over 40 hours of rigorous training encompassing both in-water and classroom components. Every instructor is CPR/First Aid/AED certified, with many also holding lifeguard certifications. Fostering a safe and accessible learning environment is their number one priority.

Our Water Safety Team
Our dedicated Water Safety Team provides a second layer of attention to providing a secure aquatic environment. Comprising of additional certified poolside staff, lifeguards and our Client Experience Team, their constant vigilance reinforces our commitment to your child’s safety in and around the water.

Your Active Presence
The presence of water demands constant vigilance. You play an integral role in ensuring your child’s safety, not only during lessons but at all times. Your watchful eyes are your child’s best protection. their accomplishments, big and small, are worth celebrating! Your active presence ensures you don't miss those precious moments of triumph. We kindly request that your time at CSS is dedicated to your child, their lessons, and their safety.
Additional Precautions

As a response to the alarming rates of accidental drownings, we incorporate water safety skills and awareness into our curriculum from the start. The essential back float skill is introduced in our Parent/Child classes and progressively reinforced as children advance through our program. The Float Test is intended to simulate a real-life situation in hopes that the child will transfer the skills if they were to fall into a body of water. The goal of the Float Test is to empower your child with skills that could prove life-saving in an emergency. Your child's instructor will communicate when they believe your child is ready for this test, and we encourage open communication for any queries.

In pursuit of an even higher level of safety, we've installed "safety buttons" within our observation room. Familiarize yourself with their locations and don't hesitate to use them should the need arise.

As proud and active members of esteemed organizations such as the United States Swim School Association, the World Aquatic Baby Congress, the National Drowning Prevention Alliance and Stop Drowning. Now, we continually seek to enhance our knowledge and expertise through conferences and collaboration.

Facility
At Colorado Swim School, we offer year-round small group and private lessons in our toasty indoor swimming pool. Our facility is exclusively dedicated to delivering top-tier swim instruction. This singular focus ensures we maintain a consistent schedule, free from any interruptions from other pool activities.

As the lesson starts, we know how valuable it is to be able to witness your child’s progress. However, we have found that children are easily distracted when a parent/guardian is present poolside. Because of this, we ask that you take a seat in our observation room to watch your loved one’s aquatic adventures unfold.
The observation room is designed for your comfort, with complimentary Wi-Fi, showers, hairdryers and private changing rooms. We also play the classics on our TV for yours and your family’s enjoyment while you wait welcome you to stop by and take a tour the next time you’re in the area!

Our 75-foot indoor pool is designed for swimming education. Maintained at a comfortable 92 degrees, our pool’s temperature ensures an enjoyable experience for every swimmer year-round. We know from our own experience that when your child is warm, they’re more at ease and receptive to learning.
Strategically placed throughout the pool, we have built-in teaching stations to optimize the safety and quality of instruction. These dedicated areas enhance our instructors’ ability to provide personalized guidance and nurture every swimmer’s progress during their lessons.

We’ve invested in a state-of-the-art sanitation system and additional UV filtration system. This technology ensures that our pool water remains crystal clear and free from the harsh effects of standard commercial pools. That means no more stinging eyes and green hair. Our water is gentle on the skin and senses.

We take our responsibility to the environment seriously. Our facility is equipped with IntelliFlo® Variable Speed Pumps that use variable drive technology, digital intelligence, and permanent magnet motors to reduce energy costs while efficiently managing bather load. Our pool heaters, Eco-friendly MasterTemps®, not only surpass industry standards for low emissions but also minimize fuel consumption and operating costs.

Job Description:
Lifeguards ensure students safety through constant facility supervision. As a lifeguard, you will respond appropriately to any emergency, administer first aid when necessary, and enforce the facility rules and cleaning.

Job Description:
As a member of our Client Experience Team, you will provide a high level of customer service, communicate tactfully with clients, enroll new families, have a comprehensive understanding of our program, have a strong knowledge of basic computer programs, perform light cleaning tasks, and greet customers upon entering the facility.
